What to Do If You Can't Find Your Publications in Your Library

In some cases, you may find that you're unable to access a publication immediately after you've received it. Here we will go over a few quick steps you can take to ensure you're able to stay in the game.

There are three ways a publication may become available to you in NFHS Digital:

By purchasing them through the NFHS Digital Store on web or mobile app
Through distribution by your local State Association (connect with your state officials to learn more)
Through distribution by NFHS as part of a membership

First, we'll determine which version of the app we are on. On iOS and Android, navigate to the Profile tab and scroll all the way down to find the app version you're using. You should have version 1.2.2. If you do not, please go to your respective App Store to upgrade the app. Ideally the app should be kept up-to-date at all times.

Second, find the publication you should have access to in the Store tab and long-press or hold the book's icon. Once a pop-up appears, press 'Re-download'.

If the above steps haven't worked we'll uninstall and reinstall the NFHS Digital app. Once you've reinstalled the app simply go through the sign-in process as you typically would then navigate to the Library app.

Through these steps, your publication should have become available to you.

Additional Notes

Downloadable PDFs of publications are not available. Publications can be accessed offline by downloading through the NFHS Digital app.

Print publications are not purchased through the NFHS Digital app. Visit nfhs.com for print publications.

FAQs

I'm an official and my sport is starting soon, but I haven't received any notifications from NFHS or my State Association about publications being added o my account. What's going on?

If you're an official but haven't been notified about your Rules or Case books, reach out to your State Association. State Associations are responsible for distributing all required publications to officials ahead of their season.

I had my Rules and Case Book publications last weekend when I checked the app but now one is missing, where did it go?

This is likely a content loading issue. Similar to the guidance above please navigate to the Store tab in NFHS Digital, long-press your publication's cover, and Re-download. If this isn't effective, try to delete & reinstall the application.
