How to View Publications in NFHS Digital - Mobile App

Getting around the updated NFHS Digital app is easier than ever. This guide will show you how to navigate your books using our new vertical scrolling layout and how to use targeted, in-publication search to instantly find rules, bookmarks, and notes.

Overview of Publication Page


While in the Library in the NFHS Digital app, tapping a publication will take you to the publication's home page, a new feature in Version 2.0.


There are five buttons:

  1. Highlights. Content you've highlighted will appear here. 
  2. Notes. Content you've left any comments on will appear here.
  3. Share. Send a link of your publications to peers or friends.
  4. Search. Search directly for keywords or phrases.
  5. Read. Jump to the title page of your publication and get started, or pick up where you left off.


Publication home pages are accompanied with an additional Table of Contents section to allow you to instantly jump to specific Rules & Sections.


NFHS Digital is working hard to improve the experience for those viewing publications. In an effort to do that you might experience two different experiences based on the years of your specific publications. We've outline the

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Access NFHS Digital account
  2. Locate and select the publication within your Library tab
  3. Navigate the following tools for desired results:
    • Read: Jump to the title page of your publication and get started by scrolling vertically.
    • Highlight: Content you've highlighted within the specific publication will appear here. 
    • Notes: Content you've left any comments on within the specific publication will appear here.
    • Share: Send a link to your publication to peers & friends. 
    • Search: Search directly for keywords or phrases within the specific publication. 
    • Table of Contents: Navigate directly to a desired location within a publication. Previous editions of publications will only be able to navigate to the rule.
  4. To start reading select Read
  • Navigate Pages: Swipe from side to side to navigate the publication pages.
  • Table of Contents: Select the three horizontal lines on the bottom left to view.
  • Search: Search within the specific publication.
  • In-Rule Reference: any displayed rules will be hyperlinked to immediately display the details of the referenced rule.
  • Settings: Adjust and view the following:
    • Text Size
    • Show All Tabs
    • New Tab
    • Find On Page
    • View Highlights
    • View Bookmarks
    • Bookmark Page
    • Report Content Issue

  • Text Size: Adjust the size of a publication's copy to improve readability.
